Privacy Policy

Beat The Blox is built with privacy in mind. We do not collect, track, sell, or share any personal data. The whole game runs on your device.

Data we do NOT collect

  • No personal information (no name, email, phone number)
  • No tracking identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, fingerprinting)
  • No analytics or telemetry
  • No advertising SDKs
  • No location data
  • No contact list or photos access

Data stored on your device

The following information is stored locally on your device only and never transmitted anywhere by us:

  • Your high scores and personal bests per game mode
  • App settings (audio volume, controls, theme choice, notification preference)
  • Credit balance and unlocked themes
  • Daily Challenge attempt history

Uninstalling the app removes all of this data.

In-App Purchases

If you buy a credit pack, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Apple shares only the transaction confirmation with us so we can grant the credits to your local balance. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles payment data.

Notifications

If you opt in, the app schedules a single local notification each day at 7 PM to remind you that your daily credits have refreshed. This notification is created and delivered entirely on your device. We do not run a push server. You can disable it any time in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings → Notifications.

Game Center

If a future update integrates Apple's Game Center, your high scores may be uploaded to Apple's leaderboards under Apple's privacy policy. Game Center participation is always optional.

Children

Beat The Blox is rated 4+ and contains no content unsuitable for children. Because we collect no personal data, we are compliant with COPPA, GDPR-K, and Apple's Kids Category requirements by design.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change what data is handled, this page will be updated and a notice will appear in the app's About screen. Material changes will require accepting the updated policy before continuing to use the app.
