Common issues
Lost progress after reinstall
High scores, settings, and Daily Challenge history are stored locally, so reinstalling clears them. The ad-free purchase can be restored from the app.
Purchase didn't show up
Open Settings or Remove Ads and tap Restore Purchases. If a confirmed ad-free purchase does not unlock, email us with your Apple receipt (Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → View Account → Purchase History).
Video ad is not available
Rewarded videos require a network connection and ad availability. Try again after a short wait, or use the one-time ad-free purchase to play without video gates.
Daily Challenge says "already played"
The Daily Challenge resets at midnight UTC, not local time. This keeps the puzzle synchronized worldwide so leaderboards stay fair.
App is silent
Make sure your iPhone's silent switch is off, or enable Music in the app's Settings. SFX play even when music is disabled.
Game runs slowly on older devices
Beat The Blox is tuned for iPhone 12 and newer. On older devices, you can lower particle density in Settings → Visuals.
Controller isn't recognised
Pair your MFi controller in iOS Settings → General → Game Controller first, then relaunch the app. The app supports DualShock, DualSense, Xbox Series, and most MFi-branded controllers.
